    ...full benefits until age 66 (which those of us born in the first year of the wave — '46 — are doing this year).

    Obviously, this is going to be a big factor over the next 20 years. But how much are voluntary retirements a big factor now. One thing we know is that the relatively small percentage of over-65s who are still in the work force is up by several percentage points from where it was a few years ago.

      Born after 1949.  I know for people like me born in the 70s, it was going to be 68.   I am emphasizing the past tense for a real reason......
