out of my government. No exceptions, exemptions, indulgences, or any other influence peddling of any kind. Any religion that preaches for a candidate in my opinion has lost the right to any kind of tax exempt status. I keep my religion out of government. I expect and demand that others do the same. Religion has no business ever running a state.

Our political campaign periods are mercifully short here in Canada.Remarkably cheap. No Citizens United. Never,in any election federal or local, can I recall a candidate's religion mentioned or an organized church spouting their political policies.I am appalled by the creep of religion into U.S. politics. It gets worse each election. Because of it,no church should be tax exempt. But it would take a BIG Democratic majority in both chambers of Congress to enact appropriate legislation.

Republican candidates:no representation without fair taxation.
