    And keep my eye out for them when I get here on the site. It's kind of silly, but I always get that slightly inadequate feeling reading them in that I want to better know the various wild plants and animals around me. So many of them I know nothing about.

    I forgot to mention that, while also not new, a flock of wild turkeys have been hanging around the farm for a couple weeks now. Almost every day I'll hear their calls and will look out to see a male turkey strutting about with feathers at full attention. It's really quite a joy to have them around. I need to snap some pictures of them sometime soon to share on my blog. I'll look to post them on a Daily Bucket, too.
