    until Alaskans called her on it big time.  She seems to have heard the political reality of this one in her own home state.  But how deep is her understand and her conviction, beyond that she is a quick study on what didn't work too well for her.

    She thought the issue du jour was religious freedom and hopped right on that band-wagon, but she quickly learned that insurance coverage for contraception is a way more important issue to women in Alaska

      she was expressing hesitation and concern about the Blunt amendment before the vote. Then she voted for it anyway. Then she caught hell from her constituents and was back to being concerned. If only there'd been something she could have done about it. Like, I don't know, voting against her party's bill.

        own female constituents.  

        Lisa is partisan and corporate leaning by nature.  But she pretends to be otherwise.
