If Guillen made these comments while White Sox manager there wouldn't have even been a news story -- the White Sox don't even play in Miami unless there's an inter league matchup. But for Guillen to say this while in the Marlins employ is equivalent to praising the KKK in the heart of Bedford–Stuyvesant or the employee of a Jewish deli saying "well, Hitler was a tyrant but he made the trains run on time." In fact, there's even precedent as MLB suspended Marge Schott for a year for comments she made about Hitler -- in a sense Schott was an employee or at least directly connected to MLB as an organization as she was the owner of the Cincinnati Reds.
