  •  CJB, as I said before You are the BEST at (8+ / 0-)

attending to what You post. BJM has been working at getting the FP'ers to do better at this, and I think She has had some results.

There's a lot to be said about this.  As diarists, I think we have an obligation to attend to our writing.  Emotionally, socially, intellectually, snarkily - whathaveyou.

And I do it for many reasons, not the least of which is my committment to the dkos of years past.  I, in fact, just went looking a few moments ago for an example of a WYFP from - say - 2005 or so.  Not a specific one, but just for the feel from back then.  The diaries were so different.  The sub threads went to the margin on lots of comments People really engaged in interacting with one another.

I went looking because that's one of my FPs.  These days, many comments have a response or two.  Some people post a comment, but never lend any support to others.  Some comments garner so sympathy/empthy at all unless the diarist responds.

It saddens me.  Everyone deserves to be acknowledged.  Especially in WYFP.

      Thanks for your support.

I suck at diary tending, even my non-WYFP diaries lately. I think DailyKos in general hasn't been a very happy place lately. Without getting into specifics, I'll just say I think MB was a better, more in tune with the community moderator.

And I hate your "NR."  I know that makes things difficult for you as far as interaction.

Yeah.  I respect Kos for a lot of reasons, but I miss MB.

And you don't suck.  You might slack a bit, but you don't suck.  >:-P!

I'm barely here. I come in for WYFP when I'm not elsewhere on Saturdays, and for Brothers & Sisters. I'll read a few news stories, and contribute to community crisis fundraisers, but honestly, I find out about those from Nurse Kelley 'cause she & I are FB friends.

It's not a happy place. It's a pretty harsh place. As a person of faith who was around in the days before Street Prophets was spun off, I'm reminded of why that site was created. Bring up anything about faith or religion here, and if it's not snarky and mean, the attacks come.

And your NR is just idiotic. :( Really.

I'd appreciate it if you'd drop Kos a note about it. It seems my only recourse is getting enough people to tell him to reinstate me, outside of directly petitioning him myself (which is something I won't do).
