    and thanked them for their effectiveness in boycotting Glenn Beck. I suggested they consider starting a boycott of ALEC.

    I included links to sites (ALEC Exposed, Krugman, The Nation) showing how ALEC was behind the Stand Your Ground laws & disenfranchisement efforts.

    I pointed out that boycotting ALEC would be harder because literally hundreds of organizations belong to it, but if they wanted to do a boycott, they might start w consumer-oriented companies on the Board or major committees, like Coke & Kraft.

    In the world of social media, you never know how much of an impact you're having, but I smiled to myself when I saw that ColorOfChange had adopted an approach like the one I suggested. It's a Zeitgeist thing, I guess.
