Maddow? Paul Krugman, Gail Collins, Katrina Van den Huevel?  NOW, PCCC, Howard Dean?  Us?

It really doesn't matter if the DNC and the WH decide not to carry this flag.

On women's issues the die is cast.  And the R's are absolutely tone deaf.
Here's the WSJ Op-Ed page advising them how they can win the war on women by attacking overtime pay, pay equity and such other outdated Dem tropes.

Government creates myriad roadblocks for women's economic progress, but Republicans largely have failed to make that case. They've instead let themselves be dragged into the tired debate over "equal pay" and "women's rights" and "gender equality." Democrats love competing on these terms because it allows them to argue that the remedy always lies with more government, no matter the adverse consequences. It's no accident that the first piece of legislation Mr. Obama signed was the Lilly Ledbetter Act. Purporting to snuff out wage discrimination, this is mostly a litigation bonanza for trial lawyers.

Mr. Romney, and women, would be better off if the Republican brought this debate into the 21st century. What women need most in the economy we've got now is choice, opportunity and ownership. The Democrats want a war. Most women want a living.

the war on women, the first time in decades that the Blue Team launched a perfect political frame

"Politics is like driving. To go backward put it in R. To go forward put it in D."

Let's just HOPE they make it about CHOICE and OPPORTUNITY.... while they're cutting head start, day care, Pell grants, coming up with the ridiculous ANTI-choice legislation everywhere...  I'd say bring that on!!!  The republicans will soon shut up entirely about this because even they can figure out that the more they talk about it, they are bound to slip up and say something really, really stupid. They are out of their league on this one.

Let's not EVER forget that image of Bachmann pouring the water for the male candidates at the 'thanksgiving' debate. Just like a good little hostess. My gawd. I felt embarrassed for the poor woman knowing she didn't know enough to realize she should be. I'm damned if we're going to go back to those days.
