  •  In the last week, I have come to loathe (23+ / 0-)

this spoiled, condescending, two-faced woman almost as much as her spoiled, condescending eight-million-faced hubby. She's the nasty sorority girl in high school, the mean girl who sneered at your in the halls acting like you are nothing to her because she has a drawer full of cashmere sweaters, and her mother let her buy a $900 promo dress and take the day off school to get her hair done and a manicure & pedicure, and she got a Corvette for his 16th birthday, gray to match her eyes. (These are actual examples taking from my very socie high school).

There is no way Ann Romney actually believes she was "attacked" because she is a "stay at home mom." If she did, she'd be smacking her husband for his remarks about welfare mothers (poor mothers are NEVER "moms") who don't "work."

Take the "Can't(or)" out of Congress. Support E. Wayne Powell in Va-07.

    •  I, too, have come to (6+ / 0-)

loathe this fraud of a mother. Your assessment is spot on and like her husband, the more people get to see and know this gold plated _itch (you may choose w or b as the first letter) the more they will dislike her. The Romney's are not nice people and they are a match made in hell.

    •  A little homespun reality needs to knock Miss Ann (7+ / 0-)

      back down to earth.

Her sainted idea of motherhood doesn't jibe with the reality that the rest of us know.

Flicking her Mont Blanc bic to write checks for the housekeepers and nannies doesn't count as motherhood.

Let's have a reality week with Miss Ann and see how well she holds up with real motherhood and real demands.

Let's see her juggle three jobs ("You work three jobs? … Uniquely American, isn't it? I mean, that is fantastic that you're doing that." Republicanism bullshit) while she juggles daycare and housework and laundry and "keeping food on the family."

I'd bet she wouldn't make it through two days without a collapse. But, of course, she has the fallback knowing that her wealthy cushion awaits her at the end of the week.

The rest of us mothers don't have such luxury. We have to cut the grade every single day, week in and week out.
