    Peppers can grow in many areas, you just need night time temps above 50s and daytime temps below the 90s for fruiting.  I hate bell peppers though, instead I have a flat of pimento peppers started in my garage and a flat of haberneros and jalapeno peppers.  I will begin to harden them off next weekend I think, putting them in the ground maybe the weekend after that.

    I grew them from seed. They are duck soup easy IMO, just don't put them outside to early, they hate cold weather.
