Of course, I can't hide my beliefs here on this issue so I was glad you directed me to that group.

control laws.  At gun shows here one can buy anything in the the parking lot.  Really.  We have some of the busiest morgues and coroners in the nation.  This is Detroitland where a child's chances of growing up without at least being grazed by a bullet are probably twenty to one.  We have long barrels and handguns, but they would only come out if we were challenged by another gun.
I hasten to add that we also have a lot of cutlery, but we don't brandish it on the streets or throw knives around to convince ourselves how badass we are.  Our first weapon experiences were in the US Army and hunting in northern Michigan.

Romney went to France instead of serving in our military, got rich chop-shopping US businesses and eliminating US jobs, off-shored his money in the Cayman Island"s, and now tells us to "Believe in America."

question came up and Bill answered this way (I paraphrase)

"People in the city see gun control as a safety issue. And people in the country see gun control as a liberties issue."

I love Daily Kos--am from a gun-owning Southern family, own a gun, and am very, very conservative about ever using it.  I do not believe that it should be legal to own a gun that could kill everybody in a large room within a few minutes. That is just dumb.

What you are speaking to is "gun laws", and "gun use" laws.  I also support them.
