    and has a large or small group of editors and administrators who are able to publish diaries to the group. Usually, these people are watching out for diaries that might be a good fit with the group's area of interest, but they cannot possibly see everything.

    If you have a diary you think would fit well with the material a group typically publishes, it's not at all bad form to send a private message to the group and ask them to take a look at your diary and see if they'd care to republish it. (Actually, depending on the group, it may take a while for someone to see a message to the group. You might be better off writing to a BlogAdmin directly. If you go to a group's page and look at the Members page, you'll see them listed.)

    I would also suggest that, if it's the sort of group where the members typically gather to comment on diaries it publishes, you hang out there, comment, and form some relationships, so that people in charge of the group have an idea who you are when you ask them about your diary, and you don't just appear out of the blue with your request. People are people.
