not great though. Sadly he, Justin Kim (CA-31) and Nate Shinagawa are all looking like losers right now, which means no new Korean-American congresscritters...this cycle, anyway.

Orange County's political identification is changing, and it's changing even more rapidly in and around Irvine.  Kang will need to work his ass off (from what I've seen, his precinct walks every weekend seem to show he is willing to), and if he does that, with a little luck, I could see Campbell being ousted.

It's not like Campbell is exactly loved by his constituants either.  I think it being a presidential year, Obama will run up the numbers in California, and definitely make these kinds of districts competitive.

What Kang lacks in monetary power, I hope he makes it up with people power

My girlfriend is currently interning for the Kang campaign, and I will definitely be putting in some hours this when I finish up this semester of College.

if Kang were raising good money, I'd say ok, Leans R but an upset can't be ruled out. With his weak fundraising, though, the possibility of such an outcome is growing more and more distant.
