If you want to match US demographics -

Women were just 29 percent of roundtable guests.
Should have been a little over 50%
The ethnic diversity was similarly woeful: 85 percent white
    Should have been 72.4%
    and 11 percent African-American
    Should have been 12.6%
    with 3 percent Latino
    Should have been 16.3%.
Other ethnicities made up an additional 2 percent of roundtable guests.
Should have been 11% if you include non-Hispanic Asian.

So a miserable job representing women and almost a good job representing African Americans proportionally.  Latinos are WOEFULLY underrpresented as are non-Hispanic Asians and other.

We have white men as talking heads and since more women are democrats than men and more people of color are democrats than white, what would you expect?  yes we have the white man telling us what to believe and what is right and wrong in this country from a white male opressor perspective.

      •  Actually (0+ / 0-)

I was pleasantly surprised by the AfAm numbers.  Much better than I would have expected.

Of course Juan Williams and Harold Ford probably account for most of that...
