    All Analysts, Progressie, Libertarian, and Conservative are selling a product.  If they don't say what their audience wants to hear, their audience will move on to someone else.

    Can you imagine if Ed Schultz had been predicting a Republican landslide that would take over the house, how would his audience have reacted?

    If one of the regular writers her on Dailykos were to begin predicting that Obama would lose the Fall election, narrowly but lose nonetheless, how would the members here react?

    If you are selling a commodity, you give the customers what they want and very few people want to hear that their "guy" will lose.
