to a non-Catholic hospital and get it done. Back in the day, it cost us $800. I never got a vasectomy because I didn't mess around. We stayed married (38 yrs), so it all worked out. As it turned out, we could have done it the other way 'round, but we didn't.

One heck of a lot cheaper than kids, that's for sure. My wife got tired of playing chemical roulette. She also did HRT for a while, but kept her ears open and quit while she was ahead.

hospital is a few hundred miles away.  Then you are looking at possibly doubling the cost as you will probably need to stay in a hotel (a basic rate for a decent one is about $85 per night with tax) for a few nights before you are ready to travel home.

There is no saving throw against stupid.

My wife was ready to travel in two hours. We had to drive 30 miles. My heart goes out to all of you who have no choice but to contribute to the Church's coffers. I've fortunately never had to live is such a benighted area.
