    I had to get a diaphragm, the doctor had them in the office. PP has them in the office, at least here. Others don't stock them -- doctors and pharmacies. The Walmart pharmacist said they don't stock them but can order one in 1-3 days. Some pharmacies don't even want to order them.

    This sounds like the last time I went to buy contact lenses. Used to be, the eye doctor had them in the office. Now, she gives me the prescription and I have to order them somewhere else and have them shipped or pick them up in about a week.

    It feels like all of this is being squeezed by "free" market/just in time "planning." All about cutting expenses and ignoring customer needs.
