  •  You have a Worx? (0+ / 0-)

I read they were light duty. Unfortunately, I have twigs and branches, not just leaves to grind up, and the smallest piece of equipment I could get would cost about $700. Sigh. I'm tired of sending my lawn waste to the incinerator and then having to buy organic material for the garden.

trimmer.  It is medium duty (or at least mine is) but my yard is small and the work trimming and edging it is light enough.

I have a Chicago Electric wood chipper that chips up the small stuff - up to about the thickness of my wrist (I have small wrists...).  It cost me about $80.  For the big stuff - I set it at the curb for Big Trash Day and they leave a receipt behind that I can take to the recycling center in the city to redeem for much (and sometimes compost).

Does your city or town have a mulch and compost center where you could do that?  Ours started with mulching Christmas Trees and expanded from there.

      All knowledge is worth having.
