    Why doesn't eminent domain ever work in the opposite direction?  Why can't the government decide that taking "stuff" (land, property, rights of way, etc...) from the wealthy for the benefit of the poor is what this country needs rather than taking poor people's stuff (or government owned 'stuff')and handing it over to the wealthy?

    It seems that what is good for the goose...

    I know, it ain't never going to happen but I still have to ask why every now and then.
