I love Targeted Tangential Takedowns(R). Unfortunately, I'm not sure their effects last long, because there is no excess, no depravity, no illogic that True Believers can't ignore if they tilt their blinders jusssst riiiiight...

One of my favorites is Obama-as-commanist-soshulist-librul-bent-on-destroying-our-cherished-free-market-freedoms zzzzz zzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzz.... someone starts that crap with me and I say, "Yes, you're very right, our capitalist markets are in terrible trouble!" Then I launch into the evils of monopoly and how consolidation is destroying free enterprise. EVERYBODY understands "too big to fail" -- and almost all 99%ers hate it. Done correctly, I can even get worshippers of Saint Ronald to reminisce fondly about how many more radio stations, newspapers, independent hospitals, banks, airlines, and oil companies there used to be... and then I point out (without gloating) that it was Ronald Reagan and the pro-monopolists of the day who opened the floodgates to dangerous, massive market consolidation.
