    I could not agree more with message here. Anti-choicers invented the term "partial-birth abortion," as I understand it. Why can't we get with it? Imagine how  the Catholic Bishops' arguments would have sounded if someone  had called the ACA provision that requires no co-pays on birth control the "abortion prevention act of 2012."  Of course, "family planning" represents my values -- but we could be more political about it....

      But in a messaging war, do you really want to be talking about abortion? You have just had the ball snapped over your punter's head and he is trying to chase it down before it goes into the endzone and is recovered for a touchdown by the other team.  You're trying to make birth control sound warm and fuzzy. Everybody wants to have a family, right? So we'll plan on having one one day. Just not now. Don't try to fight a war using the other side's weapons, and "abortion" is the V2 of the right.
