  •  So... (6+ / 0-)

People with disabilities can't afford Lamborghinis?  There's no mention of the owner in the tweet, or so it seems, so the tweeter in question seems to be making the assumption that someone with a disability is unable to obtain such a high profile car.  Granted, we don't know the circumstances behind how they got this Lamborghini, but I believe we can assume it was legal.

From what you gave of the tweet, the author of it seems to be saying "They can't be disabled.  They can afford a luxury sports car!", which is a fine example of discrimination if I ever saw one.

Hope you can get that knee replacement soon.  My knee acts up occasionally if I stay in place for too long, so I know how much of a bugger it is to be unable to bend it properly.

Remember! "Fan" is short for "Fanatic"!

the tweeter couldn't understand how a disabled person could get into a Lamborghini, as they can be difficult to get into.  For anybody.

as this driver needs a very open door, the swing-up Lamborghini doors would make it easier to get out of the car.

I'm NOT disabled, and would find that convienent in a number of parking situations (If only Lambos weren't $200K and up, and got better than 8 mpg)

We have no desire to offend you -- unless you are a twit!
