    here in Oakland about this is deafening.  

    I went to the vigil last night and it was very moving and intense.  Brandi's family was there and the medic, Teardrop, who tried to save her was there.  He told us about treating Brandi for 37 minutes while the police stood around and did nothing.  He's also one of the three people being charged with hate crimes by the DA because of an alleged assault and robbery that took place on move-in day, January 28th.

    I know we aren't suppose to advocate for violence but it's hard not to when every single peaceful protest is ignored and a broken window means news coverage.

    There revolution will not be televised. But it will be blogged, a lot. Probably more so than is necessary.
