    media and most TV media and conservative papers.  Few of these intellectual arguments get replayed on these channels.  And if they do, GOP representatives are sought for 'balancing' quotes that always seem to close the news report.  

    And DEM argument gets reframed as a harsh attack on GOP individuals who clearly don't deserve this.  Republicans promise a better argument, but what happens ends up being a replay of the GOP responding with umbrage and outrage to the attack, demand a chance to respond and then seek to justify the need to harshly retaliate, and rarely is there reporting the substance of the argument, rarely do reporters dig into the real nature of the real challenge DEM sources made to GOP policy representatives, and especially nothing about what made it compelling enough that Republicans felt it threatening.  You can be the sharpest wit in the room with a megaphone but Republicans have 10,000 watts of speakers shouting the DEM speaker down, and filling the air space with everything but the real substance of the argument.
