    and thanks for reminding me that maybe my own diaries about history should be a lot shorter and more focused.  Haymarket is tremendously important in the study of American history because it's all about the abuse of power.

      diaries... other than not having the discipline to write one myself! And I agree completely with your assessment of why the Haymarket is so important... it's also the reason why it's essentially been erased from our history books.
