  •  Oh my god! (9+ / 0-)

I have been dealing with these assholes on a Youtube video I wound up seeing for some odd reason (I was watching a video of some people confronting neo-nazis).  They are all talking about immigration and race mixing is genocide and those who are okay with diversity are "anti-white".  They claim that by being okay with people dating and marrying other races, I am guilty of sponsoring genocide.  I repeatedly tried to explain that genocide is removing genes from the gene pool, not breeding between races, but they miss that.  They, then try to cite the 1948 UN hearing on genocide incorrectly to state that immigration is genocide because of a population moving in large numbers, but I pointed out that it speaks of moving a population out in a wholesale fashion or forcing them to live in conditions that are intended to cause their demise (think Holocaust).  This stuff is sick.

    •  Perhaps they conflate immigration w/genocide ... (1+ / 0-)

... because they and all their sick friends plan to move out of NC "in large numbers" if their attempt to enshrine bigotry is defeated.

They did it as a cartoon of white men using accusations of racism to justify them taking Native American land.  I suppose that by making it a cartoon, it makes their message seem more innocent, but it was disgusting.  The comments they made were even worse.  I can't stand living in a world, nation or, definitely, state where they are allowed to spout that type of hate.

I think these people hate because of some deep rooted sexual envy stemming from past denials.  Like Maggie from NOM, I think her problem is that she wasn't attractive, didn't have a good personality or intelligence, so I bet some guys turned her down using the "I am gay" line.  I think it branded her against gay people.  For these people, I think they see pretty white girls with other races and are jealous.  I feel like telling them, even if you take other races or genders out of the equation, these people probably won't turn to you... hate/envy is not something decent people flock to.

The notions of superiority these people push reek of desperation.  I wish there was a way to stamp it out, but it seems some people will always gravitate to the lowest places within humanity.

because a man she loved left her unmarried and pregnant.

she's been raging about it ever since.

I'm struck by how the meanest, cruelest, nastiest people brag about how they live in a Christian nation. It's rather telling.
