    de-fossilizing America. He called the fossil fuel industry the profit center for the 1/2 of 1%.

    What those profits lead to for the rest of us is the problem. You have laid the anti-coal case out very well, James Wells. I couldn't agree more with your reasoning and reasons.

      right now (ok, late to the party).  After a while I realized that it's not just about Global Warming, but about a much bigger picture of how we can reshape what we do to be so incredibly more resource-effective.

      And, one of the biggest items is cutting down the long supply chain, for which these coal projects are perhaps the type example together with our oil supply.

      And the Long Supply Chain is not even mentioned in this post, so I think that's #105.
