    I just think that we should adher to basic standards of truthfulness here at Daily Kos. You may differ, whatever. Your headline is just a lie. We don't know for a fact that she said those words, and we do know for a fact that she denied saying them.

    Just turn the situation around and imagine that you found yourself at the center of a controversy based on something that others have alleged that you've said, and you didn't say it.

            I don't "believe" anything. I know that the diarist placed a statement between quotation marks, when that statement was not recorded and has been denied by its maker.
