  •  I'm just hoping that the 6th congressional (0+ / 0-)

district in Minnesota was paying attention to her campaign. She made them into a laughing stock for electing her. It not just a local problem any more. IT hard for anyone to admit to making errors. Maybe now Those voters will actually consider someone else.

    •  MN-6 a GOP vote sink (0+ / 0-)

MN-6, sadly, is a Republican vote-sink, made even more Republican as a result of redistricting, although Bachmann's hometown of Stillwater was drawn out of the district, which may make her vulnerable to a primary challenge.

The only way Bachmann, who is a far-right gadfly, is going to lose a contested election in MN-6 is if she is forced to run against another incumbent Member of Congress, which may happen in 2022 as Minnesota is projected to lose a seat in the house when the 2020 Census comes around.

Dennis Kucinich is something of a far-left gadfly. The only reason that Kucinich won't be in the 113th Congress is because he was forced to run in a Democratic primary against another incumbent Member of Congress, Marcy Kaptur, as a result of his home state of Ohio losing two seats as a result of the 2010 census, and Kucinich and Kaptur being drawn into the same district.
