    can I suggest you folks find the show The Decoders on the History Channel. They use archaeology and cutting edge science to try to figure out what happened.

    The last show I saw they tried to figure out how a skeleton of an African American ended up in a grave in England, dating from like 1,200 AD.

      looking at historical writings, the individual was most likely brought back as a slave after a Crusade. This would mean, if true, the guy stayed in the area for 35+ years. He was buried in a Fairer cemetery, which meant he was eventually accept as an "equal" and even a religious person. Clearly that brings up a lot of interesting questions.
