    ...on whether regulation of Oxycontin has had any effect on actual abuse.  Regulation of pseudoephedrine hasn't meaningfully limited meth accessibility in the United States.  It just shifted production geographically.

    Ineffective regulation makes all our lives worse.  Regulating pseudoephedrine has a real cost, both in inconvenience and money, and should be critiqued for whether it has been effective accordingly.
