    •  First Lugar, then Hatch (1+ / 0-)

If Lugar actually loses tonight, which we'll know in a few hours, presumably, I would think that this would embolden tea partiers and anti-incumbent groups to go in against Hatch.  I know it is a huge hill to climb, but, remember what happened in 2010.  Each time the right wing tossed out someone else in a primary, the energy and excitement on their side carried forth into the future contests.  First it was Bennet losing in Utah, later Sharon Angle and Christine O'Donnell won victories.  I know it is a bit unlikely, but, never say never.  Utah isn't a huge state, population wise, and so who knows.  This doesn't mean that the Dem would then win in the fall, but, it would certainly help, and would force the GOP to put some money into defending Lilenquist.  Just Sayin'!
