I don't enjoy NYC, crowds, or apartment living, but I enjoyed your interesting photo essay which provided a real life taste of city life.   I'm not anti-social and enjoy humanity, however in numbers it tends to sap my energy rather than charging me up (definition of introvert).     For me there is nothing nicer than being able to provide conservation for wildlife, work on my property, and be able to relieve myself (#1 of course) when I wish and not be accused by a neighbor of indecent exposure.

"These walks are about meeting and greeting some of the other people who live in my city and about learning the back stories of many neighborhoods where I don't actually live. The text winds up becoming a little city sociology, some neighborhood history and a lot of trivia."
    Well stated and mission accomplished

Victims of bigotry are the poorest, least influential members of society.......never the wealthiest, most educated, most overrepresented in high levels, and most influential. Bigotry hurts the least influential. To claim or say otherwise is absurd.
