Fox seems to have gotten a fact right here. There have been 31 votes on amendments to state constitutions re: same sex marriage, some banning both it and civil unions, some just the first.

I need some help understanding how this correlates with the polling that indicates as Shep Smith says that SSM is on the side of history.

Not asking for it to be explained in a comment, just for some indications as to where to go for more information.

      •  As I am confessing my ignorance, here's another... (0+ / 0-)

...thing I dont get, or two.

He gave Bret Baier something that made him look as if he was chewing a wasp too.
too as in a wasp as well as another insect?

or too as if He, Shep had been chewing a wasp and then gave one to Baier, so they could look alike.

And here's a harder one. What's an Itzl?

Guardian graphicIn graphics form, one can see how

Gay rights laws in America have evolved to allow — but in some cases ban — rights for gay, lesbian and transgender people on a range of issues, including marriage, hospital visitation, adoption, housing, employment and school bullying. The handling of gay rights issues vary by state and follow trends by region
