  •  Quick Question Jerry (0+ / 0-)

My question doesn't have as much to do with your post above, though I agree with others that it's a false equivalency to compare Obama being fed dog as a child (when he was 6-10 years old) and Romney physically bullying a peer in high school.

Are you a Democrat, Jerry? Do you support President Obama's re-election?

The reason I ask is, you have repeatedly criticized the President and Democrats in your relatively short time here at Dailykos, and I'm genuinely curious whether you think Romney is a more suitable President?

    •  No I don't like Romney at all (0+ / 0-)

I think I have criticized both parties..  Although I must admit my sarcastic, cynical style will often lead me to take an opposing view of the sycophants who mindlessly jump on a lot of stuff without critically thinking about it.

I'm a fiscal conservative.. and a deficit hawk.  I don't think I have tried to hide that.

I voted for President Obama last time around.  But quite frankly, I am getting a little pissed with all these peripheral subjects taking front page when I see our economy flat lining.

And that was the reason for my bringing up the dog eating stuff.. I was not trying to create an equivalency in any shape or form.. I was trying to give an example of the off-topic crap each side seems to be digging for that distracts us from the important subjects.
