    Thanks for sharing, I felt your pain and I also am angry that Mitt is dismissing this in a nonchalant way rather than using this moment as a teaching moment. I was always the one who befriended the kids who were bullied and I now realize looking back that some were gay, or had illnesses looked a bit different and it made me mad that it was ok to pick, harm or maim. Mitt could use this moment as an anti-bullying moment. Instead he says homosexuality wasn't prevalent, as if" this was a fad back in the 60's, an era sort of matter. Who knew? I am happy that you have obviously came out as a better person, thanks for sharing your story, very courageous of you and I hope by letting this be known who betray themselves with personal demons have the courage and wisdom to know that you can free yourself by admitting the truth, not hiding or excusing this behavior. Cruelty is no excuse for memory lapse. Make amends and sincerely mean it.
