    about how California's third parties split:

    There are fours major third parties, two leftist and to conservative. The Lefties are the Greens and the Peace and Freedom Party. The Conservatives are the Libertarians and the American Independent Party. Each party got between 1-2% statewide in 2010, in both the Governor and Senate races.

    In the new CA-52, I'd bet that a decent portion of the 7% and 9% that third parties got went to the Libertarians.
