    at all. I am just shy and lazy and also have a little arthritis, so don't know how long I will last, but I can try it once. I do not live in a dangerous area and am not afraid of Walker supporters. They have a right to their opinions, but I have a right to mine as well. But thanks for all the advice, I will bring a cell phone.

    Wisconsin is polarized, but, most people aren't crazy. I am not afraid of Republicans as far as canvassing, because I won't be standing there with a huge sign. I sometimes feel like the signs are a different level of confrontation. I don't think walking around to talk to people is, but I guess I will have to see.

      I will be truly interested to hear how it goes. I've never done this (my city and the west side of the state are pretty blue), but you will be on the proving ground for democracy and I feel sure your observations would be trustworthy and helpful in case I ever do need to contend with what Wisconsin is facing.
