Biblical narrative evidence (for either the pro or con position) for social categories such as "homosexual" which did not exist at the time in the way we understand them today.

back then did not know that homosexuality existed? Rly?And what makes you think we "understand" homosexuality any better than people did back then? In some cultures, it seems to have been accepted far more openly and without violence than in ours.

both as a word and as a category of behavior didn't exist before the 19th century. Same sex relations and heterosexuality were not seen as mutually exclusive prior to this. At different times same sex relationships were variously celebrated, tolerated or condemn but they were treated as a behavior rather than a sexual identity. The evidence for this is widespread and convincing.

The Hellenistic and early Christian worlds didn't view same-sex relationships in the same way we do, and didn't use terminology which is easily equated, so in a way these efforts are apples-and-oranges.
