    Our butterfly weed and milkweed are not blooming yet but they are both getting close here in mid Mo. Sunny and about 80 the last time I looked at the thermometer.  Saw the first chimney swifts of the year earlier . Little flying cigars.

    The first batch of tree frogs have hatched here also. There'll be many more before the season is over, they are still singing a lot. Bull frogs and cricket frogs are singing regularly now too.
