    The Senate bill added those classes to the original bill so the GOPers used them as an excuse to oppose the entire bill.

    As for Native American women the bill gives tribal courts jurisdiction over abuse that happens when a non-Indian commits the crime. Previously tribal courts had no jurisdiction over non-Indians who committed abuse on their Indian spouse even on Indian lands.

    America could have chosen to be the worlds doctor, or grocer. We choose instead to be her policeman. pity
