  •  He wouldn't win in 2016. He wouldn't be able (0+ / 0-)

    to beat Hillary.

    •  Hahahaha!!! ... (4+ / 0-)

people said she was unbeatable in '08 .. and we know how that turned out .. besides ... Democrats don't nominate the previous 2nd place finisher like the Rethuglicans do

    •  Would you STOP with the (0+ / 0-)

      Secretary Clinton disrespect already.

She said after her stint as SoS that she is DONE with politics.

You people who keep beating the "Hillary 2016" drum disrespect her, and disrespect all other political women.

There is more than one woman qualified to be POTUS.

      •  Supporting Hillary is disrespect? (0+ / 0-)

        That's some twisted logic.

Kathleen Sebelius?? How about Kirsten Gillibrand?

      •  Disrespectful? That we feel she would be a (0+ / 0-)

uniquely superb POTUS?  I, personally, would feel honored that people felt I would be a good choice for such a position.  And so is she, I'm sure.

She has several years to change her mind.  And may decide she would rather keep working than sit around the house with Bill.

        Disrespectful?  Frankly, that's pretty ridiculous.

        •  It's not the least bit (0+ / 0-)

disrespectful to THINK she'd be a great POTUS, it's disrespectful to ignore her stated wishes, which is to retire from politics after her stint as SoS

Let me assure you that as a woman who has received the 'compliments'  of unwanted attention -- as the insistence that she run for POTUS is for Sectry. Clinton,-- there is not even an iota of 'feeling good' involved.

This would be a good time for you to stop and reflect:

when a minority says something's racism, perhaps you should take them at their word

and when a gay person says 'that's homophobia', perhaps you should take them at their word.

Because I'm telling you in no uncertain terms right now, that for women, when she says 'no', or 'I'm done", and that is not respected?  That is sexism.  And worse.

Yes, passionately wishing for Hillary Clinton to run for POTUS is just like raping her. Because lord knows politicians never play coy, and passionate supporters never try to draft them into a race.

            •  Because the only situation (0+ / 0-)

in which a woman might say no, and be disregarded is one of potential rape.

You're the one drawing that equivalency, not me.  I'm saying that when a woman (or anyone) says no to something, respectful behavior is immediately taking him/her at their word, and not continuing to push the issue.

              •  Sorry, I respectfully read your reasoning (0+ / 0-)

and still find it ridiculous.  That Hillary Clinton has a problem with people vocally wishing she would run for a public office, after spending most of life in the public view, is absolutely absurd.

So someone says something in public and we are to immediately take them at their word and not openly question them or express another opinion?  I find it hard to believe you are serious.

And I am applying that to both sexes.  Because for you to only apply it to women doesn't even make sense.  And that IS sexist.

    •  Hilary (0+ / 0-)

Won't run. She knows her time in the sun has passed.
