    excellent slogan.  

    We need a little class-consciousness here in America, imo.  For too long our aims for economic justice have been hobbled by the idea that we can all be rich if we just work harder.  Therefore anyone who doesn't "succeed" must be morally inferior or lazy.  

    It's no accident that in modern countries that have an awareness of class inequality is much lower.  Europe, for example.  We are in denial, and the 1% slogan is an antidote.

    We all know there are exceptions to the 1% frame, but most of the wealthy people I know don't get hung up by the slogan...they basically agree with it.

    We need to remember that "great" chart, imo, where from Reagan to now income for all Americans is flat whereas income for the 1% goes way way up.
