  •  There is a contingent (12+ / 0-)

who have been presented to the media since Day One of this administration.

I can tell you some of their names: Ron Christie, Michael Steele, Joe Watkins, Michelle Bernard (although Ms. Bernard seems less radically conservative since all the anti-woman bullshit started). Watch any cable news show and if there is a conservative on to discuss President Obama, chances are great that it is an African-American man or woman. They are on MSNBC all the time -- you don't even have to watch FOX to see them. There was even a woman on last night arguing with Michael Eric Dyson that marriage equality is wrong 'cause the Bible says so. (I was massively disappointed in Dyson for not pointing out that we do not use the Bible as a basis for our laws.)

They brought this group of conservative African-Americans out to criticize Obama from the start so that nobody could call them racist. And it works -- because people say, "Look! Even other black people hate him!", as if any race votes in a block.

Watkins is a "reverend," apparently, so watch for him to get the gig.
