    any better than it did the last time. Wright retired from the pulpit since Obama took office (he's I believe Pastor Emeritus) and has been out of the limelight -- most people aren't going to really care at this point. And as other people have said, this opens Romney's religious upbringing to scrutiny, and there are a lot more red flags in the LDS Church than there are in Trinity UCC, especially since Romney actually held a position of authority as a bishop while Obama was just sitting in the pews.

    All this strategy would do would be to shore up the base -- it'll have the opposite effect on the moderates and independents he needs to get elected.
