      him permanently from the place which seemed quite odd.

      Lewis and his son have been banned from the community center, but Shipman hopes to change that. She said he will plead not guilty to the charge against him
      That made me think it was a general "Eff you for wearing a political shirt". Oh well, read first, type later.

        ...that apparently followed his being asked to change his shirt—a confrontation that eventually resulted in the police being called.

        (I'd know more about the story had the diarist actually provided a link to the text, rather than just a YouTube video and an excerpt of the story.)
