        Democratic. It basically contains every neighborhood in Dallas and Tarrant counties that Republicans didn't want in their districts, and is about evenly split between blacks and hispanics. It features a fierce and nasty battle between a Fort Worth-based candidate and a Dallas-based candidate. The latter, for whatever reason, made a point of bashing Tarrant's most important employers: Lockheed, American Airlines, and GM.

        But it will be great being represented by a Democrat after several of years of being in Joe Barton's district.
