    In fact, any mayor or governor who approves a casino is approving a tax on the poor.  Go to any casino during the weekday and you'll see hundreds of poor and seniors, gambling their lives away.

    And in MN, we're not talking about a luxury tax.  We're talking about an increase in the sales tax which will fund the stadium.

    No center-lefter who claims to be concerned about wealth/income inequality should support any fiscal policy which exacerbates it.  And any increase in a sales/gambling tax will exacerbate income inequality.
