    I could see where an opposite ruling would be chaotic. If a child is born whose biological father was simply an anonymous sperm donor, would that child have rights to the sperm donor's property including survivor benefits? Are survivor benefits a "property" that can be bequeathed to future unborn generations? Where would it stop?

    In the case before the court, the biological father had been married to the mother and his intent was to father those children. But can you bequeath to a future child something that may not be yours to give?  

    Thorny legal issues. I have to side with the court on this one.
