As Jesus put it, "the kingdom of God is within you".  Find out who you are within and then you will know those who speak the truth outside yourself.

"The older generations have been taught: ‘Come to the temple. Give a donation and you will be free.’ Children do not run after God. The children of today often do not go to churches. Why? According to Maitreya, there is an awareness in them that ‘The Lord is within’.
Maitreya says, “God is not in the sky. God is in the heart.” Although He is in reality everywhere, individuals are becoming aware that it is possible to experience the Lord in the heart. Maitreya’s message to religious leaders is, “Do not create fear in the minds of innocent children. Fear is poison.”
This has been the way of religions until now. Maitreya teaches the swamis around him: “I am with you. If people have not attained to certain truths in life, give them these truths freely, but do not claim them as your own.” Maitreya adds, “The same Light you came from exists in the snake, in the mountain, in water, in fire, etc. If the same Light is common to all these, how can you say ‘this’ is more important than ‘that’?”
Realization of this truth creates a sense of unity, of harmony. “Since it is the same for every human being, if you come to know this truth, will you then compare? Or try to dominate one another? You will not. Instead you will respect one another.”" - World Teacher Maitreya

...dogma, pastors, exorcisms, magical mystical mumbojumbo, synods, diocese, confession, elders, or any of that crap.
The Kingdom of God is within you.
